About the Founder - Kerri Heilman, MOT, OTR/L
Hi! I'm Kerri, a licensed Occupational Therapist and the founder of Milestones On The Go! Have you ever been at a job where you thought, "If I were in charge, I could do this so much better!" Well, that was me in 2017! After nearly two decades of practicing Occupational Therapy mostly in settings controlled by insurance companies or other bureaucracy, I decided I was done! I knew in my heart that I could create an environment where kiddos and families could feel valued, heard, and supported AND therapists could actually work on what was meaningful to clients NOT what was meaningful to insurance companies!
And so my journey into private practice began...which was amazing, and fulfilling and.......THEN came Covid!!!! Full Stop!
With the challenges that Covid presented, I closed the doors of my first practice.
BUT not without a new door opening!
A new journey began in the form of Milestones On The Go and the Milestones Mobile Therapy Bus! This was followed one year later by the opening of our brick and mortar clinic. After about another year, we acquired the adjacent unit, knocked down the wall and expanded our clinic space. And in 2026, we are excited to expand our serves to families in Richmond's Far West End (Short Pump and Henrico).
It has been a beautiful journey thus far, full of joy, determination, and so many wonderful relationships with kiddos and their families! It is my promise to continue to grow, learn, and find humility daily in the trust my clients afford me. It is an honor to serve each and every child and family that I am blessed to cross paths with! Occupational Therapist - Charlottesville
Kat joined the Milestones On The Go team in 2023 after living and practicing OT in Eugene, Oregon. Kat has experience working in outpatient pediatrics and particularly enjoys helping children with social emotional regulation and handwriting skills.
Jenna Holdaway, OTD, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist - Charlottesville
Jenna joined the Milestones On The Go team in 2024 after living and working as a Pediatric OT in rural Alaska. Jenna enjoys utilizing a creative, multi-sensory approach for clients in a variety of environments including outdoor play, and community exploration. Jenna also enjoys working with children with limited diets and aims to continue furthering her skillset addressing feeding impairments.
Kiera Rohan, MOT, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist - Charlottesville
Kiera joined the Milestones On The Go team as a part-time therapist in 2022. Kiera has significant experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum, including those with complex behavioral challenges. She also has specialized training and certification in handwriting.

Kinsey is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant joining the Milestones On The Go team after completing her OT student affiliation at Milestones. We were so impressed with Kinsey's awesomeness that we offered her a job! We are excited to welcome Kinsey in January 2026!

Sally is a seasoned pediatric Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of pediatric experience - including being a previous clinic owner in Richmond. Aware of the need for more options to quality OT services in the Richmond area, she is excited to join the Milestones On The Go - Richmond team!
Sydney Heilman
Administrative Assistant/Therapy - Charlottesville/Richmond
Sydney is your "go to" for all things administrative - billing, superbills, add a new card etc. She's also our amazing Therapy Aide, providing much needed support to OT's while working with kiddos!
