"Ready, Set, MOVE!"
A Sensory-Motor Movement Group

What is a Sensory Motor Movement Group?
Sensory-Motor Movement Groups provide structured, therapeutic activities designed to help children improve sensory processing, motor planning, and coordination through play-based activities like obstacle courses, balance exercises, and movement games.
Sensory Integration helps children process information from their senses, such as vestibular (movement) and proprioceptive (body position) inputs.
Motor Activities focus on developing gross motor skills, strengthening muscles, improving balance, and refining coordination.
Benefits: This group aims to increase body awareness & coordination, decrease anxiety, improve focus, self-control, and aid in behavioral regulation.
Who benefits from Ready, Set, Move?
This group is tailored for children with mild to moderate sensory motor challenges, however, all children can benefit from sensory motor activities - even those meeting developmental milestones. This group provides a fun, supportive environment for sensory motor movement activities, social interaction and peer modeling.
Children who will be most successful in the group will have the ability to follow simple visual and/or verbal directions.
