Sally is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience in pediatrics. Sally has worked in a variety of areas, including hospital settings, Early Intervention, acute care, outpatient, and schools and opened a clinic as a Clinical Director. Sally then ventured out to open her own clinic (C.A.R.A Therapy) with the idea of making everything Fun and Functional.

Sally lives in the Richmond, VA area and owns C.A.R.A Therapy. She has one daughter who recently graduated from high-school. Sally recently became interested in the mobile therapy world and is excited to partner with Milestones On The Go, LLC to bring mobile OT services to the Richmond area. 

Philosophy

  • Emphasizes a natural and holistic approach to maximizing each child’s success without focusing on a child’s diagnosis but rather on their unique abilities and needs.

  • Values the wraparound approach with family collaboration to guide parents in helping to facilitate growth for their child to reach developmental milestones.

  • Fully integrates meaningful activities (occupations) into all treatment sessions.
