Part-Time/Full-Time
Occupational Therapist
(OT Bus, Clinic, and/or Aquatic Therapy)
Responsibilities

Enjoy an environment where you can provide services NOT dictated by insurance companies (Milestones On The Go is private pay only).

Lead small Group Therapy sessions (i.e., Social Skills, Handwriting, Sensory).
-
Assess and/or treat amazing kiddos with a variety of strengths and challenges, including but not limited to, ASD, SPD, DCD, ID, behavioral challenges, FM/VM/VP challenges, other motor challenges.

Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them and parents on how to break down activities into achievable components.

Collaborate with other professionals as indicated (i.e., SLPs, Play Therapists, Teachers etc.)
Skills/Requirements
-
Available to work weekdays and/or weekends - It's up to you!

Ability to work independently.
-
Proven working experience as Pediatric Occupational Therapist or COTA.
-
Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of Occupational Therapy particularly sensory integration, cognitive/behavioral principles, Developmental FOR, Handwriting Intervention, Praxis, and primitive reflex integration.

Ability to manage kiddos with different types of personalities including some with oppositional and/or aggressive tendencies.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Valid license/certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist or COTA in Virginia.

BS degree or greater in Occupational Therapy/Applicable COTA degree.

CPR/First Aid Certification

Criminal Background Check/Child Abuse/Neglect Background Check.
Part-Time
Physical Therapist
(Aquatic Therapy)
Responsibilities

Enjoy an environment where you can provide services NOT dictated by insurance companies (Milestones On The Go is private pay only).

Provide individual and/or small group Aquatic Therapy to children with a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to, CP, MD, SMA, SCI, ASD, DCD, Down Syndrome, behavioral challenges.

Provide parent coaching, home exercise, balance, or strengthening programs as indicated.

Collaborate with other professionals as indicated (i.e., SLPs, Play Therapists, Teachers etc.)
Skills/Requirements

Ability to work independently.

Proven working experience as Pediatric Physical Therapist.

Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of Pediatric Physical Therapy, particularly in the areas of biomechanics, neurodevelopmental disorders, neuromuscular disorders, orthopedic disorders, and degenerative disorders.

Ability to manage kiddos with different types of personalities including some with oppositional and/or aggressive tendencies.
-
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
